This article is talking about a report that was to be published in a medical journal about research on BA.  They did a study to specifically search for genes and gene markers that may lead to BA.  This study may actually result in a future treatment for BA!

Here is an interesting article from 2009 that discusses the fact that ADEKs and AquADEKs does not prevent fat-soluble vitamin deficiencies in infants with Biliary Atresia.  Even though the article is from 2009 this is extremely interesting and something that might be a good topic to discuss with your GI/Transplant team.
